Free standing sea turtle sculpture hand carved in alder wood, tung oil finish
this piece was sold at an art exhibition in Half Moon Bay, California and ended up going to Hawaii in a ship container.
It now resides in the living room of this neat Hawaii home
the piece weighed over 100 lbs and was 35" wide
The base, also in alder, had anemones, sea stars and other sea life carved into the base.
The turtle was suspended by a 1" brass tube
It was signed and copyrighted by the artists as a "one of a kind" piece
